Andre Vornbrock

Chief Architect

Mr. Vornbrock has been instrumental in re-architecting SMART from a traditional laptop-based application to a truly mobile device based solution. After conducting numerous interviews with a cross section of utility inspectors and supervisors and utilizing his rich experience in mobile design, cloud services, and hardware integration, Mr. Vornbrock has made SMART a must have companion for utility personnel performing asset inspections within or outside the substation fence. Prior to joining MinMax Technologies, Mr. Vornbrock developed a new design in Electrostatic Loudspeaker (ESL) technology and went on to create VS Audio Labs as a private audiophile research and design company.
After receiving his education, he worked with the Baha’i World Centre in Haifa, Israel, as a Control Systems Engineer gaining more experience in the field maintaining industrial pumps, fans and motors. He was instrumental in re-writing HVAC control loop logic to take advantage of energy saving techniques while still maintaining critical museum standard temperature & humidity guidelines. After independent experience with several mobile applications and business web application programming, he continued to improve a flagship product at Custom Audio Video – a leading Audio Video integrator in Houston, TX.
