MinMax Technologies, a leading asset management and compliance software company for the utility industry, celebrated a triumphant Eighth Annual User Conference, held on October 17th-19th, 2023 at the Marriott Resorts in Fort Worth, Texas, that left attendees inspired and invigorated.

The highlight of the conference was the keynote address delivered by Mr. Mark Lauby (Chief Engineer & Sr. VP of NERC), a renowned figure in the electric utility industry.  Attendees were treated to an engaging and thought-provoking speech from Mr. Lauby’s insights and experiences in the utility industry, providing invaluable perspectives on current challenges and future trends.  His speech underscored the importance of aging infrastructure, DER, supply chain issues, and compliances, leaving the audience with renewed purpose.

Throughout the three days of the conference, attendees had the opportunity to participate in a wide range of informative and interactive use case sessions, workshops, tutorials, MinMax recognition awards, and user forum panel discussions.  Topics included the construction of Power BI for asset management dashboards, standardized naming conventions for data accuracy and productivity, the analysis of transformer loading, performing pole inspections using Google Maps, and many more, all led by experts and thought leaders in the field.  These sessions gave attendees actionable takeaways and innovative solutions to apply to their operations.
