The Seventh Annual MinMax eSMART User Conference was held in-person on October 11th – October 13th, 2022 at the celebrated Marriott Hotel & Golf Club at Champions Circle in Fort Worth, Texas. With over 80+ attendees from coast to coast along with alliance partners exhibiting as vendors, MinMax is proud to announce that this year’s conference was a huge success! The theme of this year’s conference was eSMART as an Integrated System of Records interfacing with in-house and 3rd party software.
On the first day of the conference, users attended an eSMART Basics Tutorial Sessions that provided hands-on training. The second day began with a keynote speech from Sean Dempsey of WESCO/Anixter on EV Charging, DER, and the Impact on Substations & Distribution. MinMax continued the day with several tutorials followed with Use-Case presentations on topics such as Equipment Tracking, Job Briefing, and Dashboard Analytics & Metrics.
On the third day of the conference, MinMax conducted NERC Compliance presentations on PRC-005 and FAC-008, showcasing the tracking and reporting capabilities within eSMART followed by Use-Case presentations from large utilities that manage compliances within eSMART. MinMax also unveiled its one-line diagram based facility creation for FAC-008.
MinMax highlighted eSMART as a unique integration platform showcasing its interface capabilities with third-party software. MinMax is proud to be partnered and interfaced with other leading products and services such as Delta-X Research (TOA4), Embedded Logix (Smart-LX and Teledyne FLIR Cameras), Wesco Distribution, Alexander Publications, and EnXchange (Energy Data Metrics Platform).
In eSMART, MinMax offers a robust yet a flexible platform that allows rapid delivery of user-requested features and modules that help its entire user community. A popular event at the User Conference is conducting a user group forum where utilities discuss and prioritize new features, functionalities, and usability enhancers for the upcoming releases of eSMART.
