MinMax client, Riviera Utilities, has been featured in the March 2021 issue of the T&D World Magazine.  The story, submitted by Chad Owen, “Municipal Utility Streamlines Substation Inspections”, details the need and process of selecting an Asset Management and Inspection Software for RU.

In the article, RU describes how their geographical location and population growth pushed for a change in the way they were inspecting substations. Using pen and paper, technicians found the inspection process extremely difficult, often times having to drive back to the office for more information. By using eSMART as a solution, the utility is able to access and verify details such as nameplate data, historical data, and service records with the click of a button. With this approach, RU has found that eSMART not only benefited the accuracy of their operations, it has also increased employee productivity and enhanced reporting.

Congratulations to Riviera Utilities for the recognition of their inspiring work.  Read their story, Municipal Utility Streamlines Substation Inspections, in the T&D World Magazine to learn more.
