South Central Arkansas Electric Cooperative has selected SMART for its extensive capabilities, flexible nature and ease of use. The progressive cooperative serves more than 10,000 consumers over nearly 2,000 miles of line.

SMART offers a comprehensive library of assets and inspection questions, allowing utilities to quickly tailor forms and reports to their needs. Because SMART conforms to a utility’s existing practices, it does not require users to change their processes or re-train workers on different inspection methods. With dashboard displays and the ability to operate with or without internet connectivity, SMART is easy to deploy for utilities of all sizes.

South Central Arkansas Electric Cooperative was founded in 1940, incorporated under the state’s Electric Cooperative Corporation Act. It serves portions of eight counties west and southwest of its headquarters in Arkadelphia.
