MinMax SMART has taken another step towards nationwide adoption with the signing of its first customer in South Carolina. The electric cooperative is the largest in the state and one of the top 25 in the country.
Founded in 1940 by six forward-thinking residents in a single county, the cooperative has grown and expanded with South Carolina. Today, it serves nearly 100,000 customers over 5,000 miles of power lines in a three-county area.
MinMax SMART offers a comprehensive library of assets and inspection questions, allowing utilities to quickly tailor forms and reports to their needs. Unlike other products, MinMax SMART conforms to a utility’s existing practices and does not require users to change their processes or re-train workers on different inspection methods. With dashboard displays and the ability to operate with or without internet connectivity, MinMax SMART is easy to deploy for utilities of all sizes.
