A large municipal utility from the state of North Carolina signed up to use the SMARTest from MinMax as its substation inspection and asset management tool for its inspectors and supervisors replacing their 9-year old legacy system.
After an extensive pilot study of SMARTest, the substation management decided to adopt SMARTest as its inspection tool for all its inspection, asset management, and reporting. The inspectors like SMART’s ease of use, its online/offline operation with iPads or any other tablets, and the flexibility to configure the system for any special situation quickly.
Being a very work-order-driven operation, this utility likes how easily they can generate work orders manually while performing an inspection in the field or reading email alerts, or automatically by setting condition-based triggers.
MinMax enhanced SMARTest to accommodate their need for equipment parent-child relationship where users can assign multiple items with their own asset IDs to an equipment.
